Ichi was born in Matsuyama-shi, Ehime-Ken, Japan, on May 1, 1984. At six years old, he started cutting out and pasting things he admired from magazines, finding solace in the process. Gradually, he began to create a world that was comprehensible only to him, Ichi. He became entirely absorbed in constructing this world. Each completed piece brought a fresh wave of excitement and joy. Since then, Ichi has never ceased his cutting and pasting. He embarked on a journey that took him to cities like New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Paris, initially selling postcards on the streets and ultimately realizing his dream of exhibiting his work at the Marriott Group Meridian Hotel in 2018.
