Daijiro Hama Japan, b. 1984
Recently Daijiro Hama has been deeply interested in the color combinations found in creatures like animals, birds, fish, and insects. While these combinations may seem chaotic when focusing on individual colors, they create a beautiful harmony when viewed collectively.
With his latest work Daijiro uses color to represent landscapes and figures. The color of the landscape conveys situations, while the color of figures reflects individual characters. The creative process involves experimenting with different color combinations, including color gradations and deliberate choices of contrasting colors.
