Autodidact and free-spirited, she translates emotions into gradients of light and color, between the fog of Tokyo and the sunsets of California.
Of Japanese, Korean, American, and Russian heritage, Yufi paints the in-between — the undefined moment where memory blurs and consciousness begins to dream.
